The video you knew was coming...

or maybe you didn't, but by now, if you followed my old blog and this one, you know a vacation isn't complete until we've made fools of ourselves in a video set to music and then posted it for the world to see. I'm just bummed I forgot to video or take any pics of J.E. and our fabulous night out--boo.

So here you go!

  2. Super cute! Looks like you guys had a great time. I didn't even know you could rent bikes in Central Park--I'll have to look into that!

  4. I really hope that you two end up parenting some day because you definitely have child like spirits which is, well, just too darn cute! Parenting also involves embarrassing your children, and I bet you guys could handle that too :0

Love the stork! Too bad he couldn't talk back! I'd love to hear what he has to say!

(Thanks for your comments yesterday. I know I am in fine company, unfortunately.)

  5. You guys were quite kind to that stork...I might have jumped into that enclosure and ringed its darned neck!

I'm glad you guys had fun. I remember a few of your older videos and you guys do have very young and fun spirits. BTW...love the yoga poses:-)

  9. OK, I am a dork... I cried!! You guys have to be parents and I am so sad that you have been through all of this BS to try to have a baby... it makes me want to ring that stork's neck.

  14. Once again, your video just shows what a pair of thoroughly (and need I say disgustingly) talented and creative people you both are. People who don't just want to be parents but totally deserve to spend every day elbow-deep in play sand and plasticine, half-submerged in a ball pit.

Like Not Your Aunt B, I'm with Mr LC on the food front - NYC is definitely a place for overindulgent food. I think I'm still digesting the six-inch think hot pastrami sandwich from Katz's deli a few years ago, and the cupcakes from the Magnolia bakery (hackneyed I know, but what can I say - we were tourists from the UK and my wife's a big S&TC fan!).

I love that you're sharing the fun with us too - it's nice to see that you have so much! :)

p.s. your friend's baby is a real little cuteypie!

  15. Thanks for sharing your video... looks like you had a great time... Thanks for reminding me it is always important to have a little fun in life, even if the stork won't cooperate!

  16. This is FANTASTIC! Seeing NYC through your eyes definitely made up for a rough-subway-was-late-city-beat-me-down day.

Who is the artist behind that great song?!

Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us :)

  18. Tree pose in Grand Central Station - that brought back memories of me going back and forth to college from home! Loved the David Byrne song - I'm a huge fan, and hadn't heard that one yet. I'm glad you had so much fun in NYC. Oh, and I'm such a dope - I just got the stork scolding thing!

  19. Oh, man, the stork scolding made me literally LOL.

Loved the video...I lived in NYC for a few years and it will always be one of my favorite cities in the world. The empty chairs shot in Bryant Park brought me back there and your tree pose in Grand Central was great. :) Namaste.

Looks like you guys had a fab vacation!
